Topic Description

Effluent Decontamination - public concern is driving decision-maiking and economical solutions
Bio-Response Solutions, Inc.
Joseph H. Wilson - CEO

Public concerns and recent events are keeping effluent decontamination systems (EDS) in almost all Level-3 and higher facility plans, in spite of cost factors and BMBL guidelines to the contrary. The issues surrounding EDS have now become cost and effectiveness. Joe Wilson illustrates the characteristics of different effluents and the available EDS solutions. He uses five current case studies to examine the specification, installation, and commissioning of EDS equipment along with critical design elements including space requirements, configuration options, connections, site connections, site conditions, and costs. He also examines real vs. perceived risks of EDS-equipped facilities.
